We believe that the sharing differing viewpoints, giving constructive feedback, and having lively debates are qualities of a healthy and productive conversation.

However, the line is crossed when people start to behave in a way that we believe would discourage a reasonable person from participating on FetLife.

Examples that cross the line include, but are not limited to:

• Groups created primarily to non-consensually spot, attack, or make fun of other FetLife members, groups, discussions, etc.

Spotting Groups

Spotting type groups need to include the following rules:

RULE #1: Keep it Anonymous

Members of the groups can NOT:

• Link to the member, on-site discussion, etc. being spotted
• Name the member, group, etc. directly or indirectly

RULE #2: Remove Spotting Upon Request

If the member or author of the post being spotted asks a group leader for the spotting to be removed. It must be removed. Assuming the member provided proof that the spotting is of them.
