Figging

The use of ginger rhizomes (also known as Ginger Root) as a torture method. A piece of ginger rhizome is cut and shaped like a buttplug or phallic object and placed in the anus, vagina or urethra. The resulting juices of the ginger will give a stinging sensation causing discomfort for the recipient.

This play is often combined with canes or other impact implements used to hit recipient so that their muscles will contract and squeeze out more of the ginger juices, resulting in more discomfort. Figging is most commonly done in the anus, as more care and consideration is needed for personal health and hygiene when ginger is used inside a vagina or urethra.

After play the sensation can last, but can be reduced by using water or melting ice-cubes on the used orifice.
