We’re humbled by Toronto’s overwhelming response and are at capacity. There will be no tickets available at the door, and only guests with valid tickets will be admitted.

More than a dance party; more than a play party.
DeepRave is a queer-run music-forward play party for kinksters, ravers, and good humans on planet earth. We honour the party as an energetic Being in its own right and value how the music, the humans, and the space combine to form the core components of its whole. We carefully curate the environment for this Being to thrive, the people to give it personality, the rules to make it safer, and the music to bring everyone together on the same frequency. Everything is in place for us to share a transformative night.
All we need now is you.
Be guided by presence and awareness as you connect with the music and surroundings; yourself and each other. Whether you’re here to dance or play; to explore your own homecoming; or to make new and foster existing connections—let consent be at the core of your interactions. With consent at the forefront of the ways you relate, we can co-create a night shaped by mutual care and flow. Immerse yourself in the soundscape, express yourself freely, and unleash your wildest desires.
DeepRave welcomes guests of all genders, orientations, and experience levels who uphold our House Rules and Community Agreements. DeepRave is intentionally pre-vetted and tickets are not sold at the door.
The music
Underground yet familiar, like making that instant connection with a stranger.
We'll set the mood and see how the room reacts: no set playlists, no musical masturbation… and no requests. Trust us—we’ve got you. The vibe usually starts out smooth and eases into a flirty swagger while you mix and mingle until it’s time for the beat to drop. When it does, it hits dark and dirty, so get ready to move and get lost in the moment. As the night evolves and more folks move from wanting to dance to play, the tempo slows and the naughtiness spreads. As your smile turns wry, maybe now is the time to negotiate exactly which bad things you want to do with whom. We’ll supply the perfect soundtrack.
Music genres are hard to pin down, but for those who care, the music we play fits into (and across) some of these genres: dark disco, indie dance, minimal techno, minimal tech house, downtempo.

The space
Birdhaus: Toronto’s legendary alt space for art, culture and kink.
This edition of DeepRave gathers at @Birdhaus, located on the land of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples.
This space is a natural fit for DeepRave’s first event outside of @ProbeOttawa. Long-standing hosts @HouseoftheHanged describe it perfectly:
The incredible BIRDHAUS is Toronto’s legendary alt space for art, culture and kink. Beautifully decorated and impeccably curated, the space provides fine furnishings, dungeon play facilities, harm reduction decorum, cozy corners, and a fully stocked cocktail / mocktail bar with some of the best mixers in Toronto.
With its impeccably curated decor, our transformation of the physical space will be minimal. We’re not big on high-production light shows, flashy screens, or fog cannons, choosing instead a return to the roots of warehouse rave culture where good people and amazing music were all the decoration needed.
The arc of the night
8:30-10PM | Arrive and ease in
Doors open at 8:30PM. The atmosphere is warm and expansive, with music to backdrop making new connections and nourishing existing ones. Grab a drink, ease in, and let the night unfold.
10PM | The Gathering - welcome & community agreements
Doors close at 10PM to foster an intimate and safer environment for all. Patrons are invited to anchor themselves in presence—attuning to their own energy and others’—as we commit community agreements together.
10PM-2AM | Dance & play
There’s time and space for all kinds of play as the sound moves from peak-time bangers to dark, sensual bass; the night is yours to co-create.
Dress Code
Wear something that makes you feel good. Like, REALLY good. Make an effort for your outfit to look a certain way and be proud to show it off. Does it have to be “sexy”? Not necessarily (calm down, @sub5paCE --plenty of butts will be on display, surely). It’s not complicated. You’re going to a sexy dance party where some people will be having sex, others will be playing in other ways, and many might just be there to dance. Dress appropriately. More details here.
