The YAM welcomes all you lovely people to come to Bar Jones. A cozy and welcoming vintage bar. where charming bartender Daan and his lovely crew are eager to pour your drinks while we banter and chatter about kink 🍷
Where
Bar Jones is situated right in the heart of the city close to Dam Square, and easy to reach by public transport or a scenic 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station 📌
When
The YAM starts at 20:00 on Friday June 5th and continues till 00:00, but you're completely free to stay till closing at 02:00 AM 🕓
Newcomers
Are you new? Yahoo! We're happy to meet you! Many new faces walk through our doors every month. We do recommend newcomers to show up early to our events before it gets too busy. Our hosts will dedicate their time to help newcomers find their vibe among our tribe from 20:00 till 22:00 ✨
Dress code & Behavior
At the YAM we facilitate casual & inconspicuous socializing. Since we're munching at a public venue, keep your outfits and behavior at our events 100% vanilla. Play of any kind is strictly prohibited. Don't be an ass, munch with class. Default consent is "no" ⛔
If you happen to chat with or ask a non-munch patron about "the event", there is no need to let them know you're at a kinky networking event. Just go with "I'm attending a networking event for young people from Amsterdam", and leave it at that. If they happen to overhear kinky chatter and ask, keep it strictly about you💁
Smokes & Drinks
You may exclusively smoke outside on the street. Keep in mind that Amsterdam's local authority requests all glassware to remain inside, within the red confines of the venue. You can leave your drinks on the red counter or round table near the exit when stepping out. Since we don't rent the location, it is appreciated if you order at least one drink. As always, mind your consumption 🥂🚬
Wardrobe
You can find the wardrobe at the back, near the restrooms. Which, as of late, is a coat hanger and typical living-room style designated coat-dumping chairs. Make sure to take care of your personal items. Host and bar staff aren't liable in the event of missing belongings, but will help getting them found via the plentiful watchful eyes in the sky and on the ground 👗
Age Limit
Although there is no official age limit for this munch. We do want to specify that this munch caters to the youth. For those that want to make friends with age appropriate people. If you have doubts about belonging to this demographic. Perhaps reconsider, as this may not be the munch for you.
Accessibility
Bar Jones is completely level without any stairs or ramps. It's a tight squeeze around the bar area for mobility scooters and wheelchairs, but so far they've always managed to get through. There is a slight ledge to get into the restrooms at the far end, which have no handlebars ♿
As it can sometimes get loud with a large crowd, those whom experience auditory sensitivity may find acoustic comfort at the back, sitting down or out-front. Earplugs or noise cancelling headphones are completely fine, whatever helps you have a great time! 👂
Respect
We cherish the amazingly wholesome, inclusive and diverse culture that's been carefully cultivated over the years at the YAM. We would like to keep it that way. Thus, we do not tolerate violence, harassment, discrimination, patterns of misconduct or extremism of any kind. This very much includes (but not limited to): racism, sexism (misogyny/misandry), homophobia, transphobia, ableism, political/ideological imposing, hunting (pickup "artistry"), cold-approaching (messaging/following unacquainted people from RSVP lists before events) and general disregard of consent, physical or otherwise. You can trust that we'll see and hear what you're doing 👁️
Our team has the right at any given time to unilaterally alter one's current and/or future attendance to the YAM as we deem applicable. We'll typically opt for temporary alterations, but can (and will) deviate depending on severity and observed recidivity potentiality 🙅🏻♀️
Treat everyone with grace and respect. Yes, also those with whom one may disagree or object. Inclusivity and diversity after all involves everyone. Leave any personal sores outside our doors. Ego is not your amigo. Treat others how others should treat you. Come correct, show respect. You get what you give. Live and let live 🧘

Our team of dedicated hosts are here for you if needed. We can be contacted beforehand and in the evening for any questions or concerns. We can easily be recognized by our host badges.
