Join us for our monthly Inner-West Munch!
Come along for a relaxed evening of conversation, connection, and community as we gather with fellow kinksters in Melbourne's inner west.
This event continues the long-standing tradition established by the Footscray Munch under new organisers, with the support and encouragement of the previous hosts.
While Fun & Flirty Connections Melbourne is new to hosting munches, one of your hosts, @Darkness_Dissent was a regular attendee of the Footscray Munch. If you've attended before, there's a good chance you've already shared a conversation with her over her regular glass of red or mulled wine.
We're excited to continue this much-loved community tradition and create a welcoming space where people can meet, chat, make new connections, and enjoy good company.
Whether you've attended munches for years or are completely new to the community, you're warmly welcome.
What is a Munch?
A munch is a casual social gathering for kinky, curious, and like-minded people to meet in a friendly, non-play environment. There is no kinky dress code, no expectations, and no pressure — just conversation, connection, and community.
Grab a drink, get a bite to eat, and join us for a cosy evening getting to know fellow kinksters.
As this is our regular monthly Inner-West Munch, we'd love the community's support. We know the Melbourne winter chill is setting in, but the heaters will be on, and you're welcome to bring a blanket to make yourself extra comfortable.
New to the Community?
First time attending a munch? No worries.
Munches are one of the best ways to meet people, learn about the community, and ease into things at your own pace. You're welcome to come solo or with friends.
The organisers will be available throughout the evening and happy to help introduce you to others if you're feeling a little nervous or unsure where to start. One of your hosts is also fairly new on their journey and more than happy to talk about their experiences in the scene.
Come join us for good conversation, new connections, familiar faces, and the continuation of a much-loved inner-west community tradition.

How to Find Us
When you enter the venue, head towards the back of the bar, past the booths, and look for the hallway on your left.
Follow the fairy lights above you, continue past the first outdoor courtyard, and make your way to the private courtyard at the rear of the venue.
The space is covered, heated, and semi-private. If you've found the rose and skull mural, you're in the right place.
Food & Drinks
The venue offers a full kitchen and bar, with a variety of food and drink options available throughout the evening.
Please check directly with the venue regarding any specific dietary requirements.
Getting There
Driving: Street parking is generally free after 6pm.
Public Transport: Footscray Station is the closest train station and is approximately a 7-minute walk from the venue.

About Your Hosts
@Darkness_Dissent
Darkness_Dissent is an advocate and creative with a strong focus on inclusion, accessibility, and creating safer spaces for connection.
She has written and spoken extensively about sexuality, relationships, disability, and the queer experience, particularly for marginalised communities. Her work has explored the often-overlooked intersection between disability and intimacy, helping to challenge stigma and promote greater understanding.
She is also a vocal advocate for queer and trans rights and has appeared on The Labia Lounge podcast, advocating for improved access to safe, inclusive sexual experiences for disabled people.
As both a kink-curious community member and organiser, she is passionate about helping create welcoming spaces where people can meet, learn, connect, and feel comfortable being themselves.
@littlebrattybear
littlebrattybear is a community organiser, connector of humans, occasional chaos gremlin, and firm believer that some of life's best adventures begin with a simple conversation.
Having spent many years within the ENM and kink communities, he is passionate about the values that help these spaces thrive: communication, consent, respect, curiosity, self-awareness, and personal growth.
While kink and sexuality are certainly part of the appeal, what keeps him invested are the friendships, conversations, laughter, learning, and sense of belonging that emerge when people are free to show up as their authentic selves. He firmly believes that genuine connection begins when judgement ends.
As both an organiser and active community member, he is dedicated to creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where people can connect, explore, learn, and occasionally embrace a little well-negotiated mischief.
@Scarlet_IV
Scarlet_IV is a community organiser, kink enthusiast, and advocate for embracing authenticity, curiosity, and connection without shame or judgement. Drawn to kink from an early age, she spent many years keeping those interests private before finding a community where she could finally express herself openly and unapologetically.
Having worked within the sex industry and spent many years in the kink community, she brings a unique perspective on sexuality, desire, and human connection. While her professional experiences often placed her in more dominant roles, her personal interests have always been drawn towards submission, power exchange, and the trust that comes with willingly handing control of pleasure to another.
What keeps her invested in the kink community is not only the exploration of kink and sexuality, but the acceptance, body positivity, inclusivity, and freedom that allow people to show up as their genuine selves. She values spaces where people can leave their insecurities at the door, embrace their desires, and connect with others in an environment built on communication, consent, and mutual respect.
She is passionate about helping create welcoming spaces where people can explore safely, ask questions openly, and discover what feels authentic for them. Having witnessed both the positive and challenging sides of the community, she is a strong believer in trusting your instincts, taking your time, and remembering that safety should never be sacrificed in the pursuit of pleasure.
