Description
Join the wonderful world of rope with the good folks at Birdhaus. Whether you’re just starting out, or looking to meet your local Shibari community this night is for you.
We kick off with Your First Rope Class, running from 7- 8:30 pm
This intro-level workshop will walk you through the very basics of Shibari with an emphasis on play, connection, and accessibility. We’ll teach fundamental techniques in a supportive environment with no prior knowledge or partner required. Loaner rope available, self tying welcome!
Students attending Your First Rope Class are welcome to stay for the second portion of the evening, with the singles mixer and social jam price included in the class ticket.
From 8:45pm to 9:45pm a lightly facilitated rope singles mixer run by friend of the space Misha will occur upstairs, so for anyone looking to meet fellow lovers of rope, experienced or otherwise this event is for you. For anyone who does not want to participate in the mixer, downstairs is available to socialize and tie.
After the facilitated mixer time the full space opens up for a general rope social and light tying, so come on out and meet your local rope scene!
