Summer Carnival is a celebration of Caribbean culture throughout Rotterdam: a colourful exuberance of music, movement, dance, glitter, feathers, drums, and joy. Each year, the parade winds its way through the city, filling the streets with floats, costumes, and the kind of energy that makes Rotterdam feel fully alive.

We are hosting a casual picnic to enjoy the atmosphere, culture, and creativity that goes into the floats and costumes. Expect blankets, snacks, conversation, people-watching, lots of dancing and cheering for the parade, and probably a lot of excited pointing at costumes.
