Description

Community Etiquette

A consistently popular workshop for anyone wanting clearer guidance on navigating kink‑adjacent community spaces with confidence and respect.
If you’re unsure how to vet people properly — online or in person — we’ll give you practical tools, tips, and red‑flag awareness to help you make safer, more informed choices.

This discussion‑based workshop is suitable for all experience levels. Whether you’re brand new or deeply familiar with community dynamics, etiquette is one of the most important skills we bring into shared spaces. Together, we explore the “unwritten rules” that help events feel safer, smoother, and more enjoyable for everyone.

Workshop Overview

This is a 3‑hour workshop covering practical etiquette skills, real examples, and open discussion.

Across the session, we’ll explore:

  • the difference between private and public spaces, and how to enter them respectfully
  • navigating community spaces with confidence and awareness
  • how to be a considerate, supportive community member
  • observing scenes and understanding appropriate etiquette
  • vetting — how to assess someone’s behaviour, communication, and reputation both online and in person
  • reading the room and recognising dynamics you’re not part of
  • asking questions without interrupting play or disrupting others
  • open discussion, shared experiences, and Q&A

You’re welcome to listen quietly, take notes, or join the conversation as you feel comfortable.

We’ll take a short break halfway through and finish with a 15‑minute Q&A.
