Are you looking for a beautiful decorative knot to add to your toolbox? One that can hold tension and looks fabulous in single or multiple colour combinations? Then this is the skillshare for you. Find out how to build the Friendship Knot and then use it to create rope designs to impress.
In this skillshare you will learn how to tie this amazing looking knot with confidence and then we will use it in a few different ways to create a variety of ties which you will be able to draw on for future creations. Each harness / design can be adjusted to fit all body types / shapes.
You will need a minimum of 2-4 x lengths of rope for each tie in this workshop, but more is better, so bring it all.
The Art of Rope is a series of skillshares designed specifically for anyone who is interested in learning how to tie beautiful, decorative knots, and learn ways to incorporate them into wonderful, artistic rope bondage creations. These skillshares are also a fantastic opportunity to socialise with like minded folk, and maybe make a few new friends.
We cover a range of beginner, intermediate and advanced knots and cater for every skill level. No previous experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome. So, whether you want to learn a few basic tricks, dabble in a new style of ropework, try rope bondage for the first time, or WOW your partner with your ingenious skill, this is a great place to start.
This workshop is suitable for partnered or solo / self tiers
No previous rope or tying experience is required.
BYOR (bring your own rope) if you have it. Limited rope and safety shears will be available to borrow for those who don't have their own.
Guests attending without a partner will NOT be paired with another attendee for practice. If you have a mannequin model, please feel free to bring it along. No nudity or sexual contact will be involved.
Numbers are limited due to the nature of the workshop and the intimate space being used.
