Most people spend their lives thinking their way through desire, power, intimacy, and vulnerability. This workshop invites you to do something radically different: let the body lead.
Blending improvisational theatre with the practices of BDSM, Improv of the Body Electric moves through impact, restraint, power exchange, movement, and energetic attunement to access instinct, intuition, and authentic expression, revealing our physical selves as instruments of communication and transformation.
Rather than performing roles, participants learn to inhabit them. Rather than memorizing techniques, they cultivate presence. What follows can be surprising: profound emotional release, unforeseen insight, heightened intimacy, and renewed trust in our innate intelligence.
Through carefully guided, consent-based exercises, we investigate how purpose transforms touch; anticipation shapes perception; sensation expands consciousness; and dominance or surrender can articulate what language cannot.
A flogger carries significance. A pause makes expectancy palpable. Stillness acquires tension. Power becomes dialogue.
Then we remove the script.
Instead of steering an encounter toward a prescribed conclusion, we follow what emerges: an impulse, a shift in breath, resistance, curiosity, vulnerability, exhilaration, release. Suddenly, familiar forms of play reveal possibilities previously unseen.
This is BDSM as living theatre: immediate, responsive, unpredictable, and profoundly human.
For Tops, bottoms, switches, and the curious who want to move beyond mechanics and encounter how instinctive play can deepen rapport, sharpen perception, and open entirely new dimensions of experience.
