SPACE is thrilled to bring Master Devyn Stone back to STL!
Devyn is an incredible author & educator (and one of my personal faves!) with more than a decade of teaching and mentoring experience and over 300 classes taught worldwide. Some of his work includes founding Pragmatically Kinking, a virtual kink education platform; serving as Executive Producer of THRIVE, a conference exploring the intersections of neurodivergence, mental health, and BDSM; and co-founding EDGE, a mentorship and development program.
His focus on consent, accessibility, inclusive leadership, and building stronger, more sustainable communities is exactly the kind of education and community-building SPACE:STL wants to support here in St. Louis, and we're incredibly excited to have him back. Devyn has graciously agreed to offer two classes to the public community on Friday, before diving into leadership training with members of our STL community on Saturday.

In this frightfully fun class, Leatherman and educator Devyn Stone (aka SirHorror) unearths the secrets of fear play: how to summon atmosphere, build suspense, and make your partner’s pulse race in all the right ways. Whether you giggle at jump scares or crave the creeping thrill of dread, you’ll leave cackling with new ideas (and maybe a chill down your spine). Come for the goosebumps, stay for the giggles—let’s play in the dark together!

Negotiation isn’t just about knowing what you like—it’s about knowing yourself. In this interactive workshop, Devyn Stone explores the deeper skills behind effective negotiation: cultivating agency, clarifying desires, and setting firm, flexible boundaries. Together, we’ll unpack the art of saying “no,” recognizing when you truly mean “yes,” and communicating needs without apology or hesitation. Whether you’re navigating scenes, dynamics, or daily life, this class offers practical tools to strengthen autonomy and confidence—so you can build connections grounded in consent, clarity, and self-trust.
While there is no cost to attend, **a ticket is required FOR EACH CLASS **so we can stay within venue capacity and make sure we have the appropriate classroom supplies for everyone.

No-shows may result in your future attendance privileges being modified or revoked.
Supporter Tickets
Because everything in this society costs money, and because SPACE believes in paying educators (yes, even for "free" classes!), we also offer optional Supporter Tickets on a sliding scale.
Between presenter payments, supplies, rental costs, and other expenses, A typical SPACE class costs us around $150–$200.
Supporter Tickets are for folks who are enthusiastic about what we're doing and would like to help cover the costs of this class and keep more quality education free and accessible to the STL community.
Your value to SPACE is never determined by your ability to financially contribute. Times are tough. Please only give from a place of excess.
That said, the more our community is able to support these events, the more free-to-the-community quality education we can continue bringing to St. Louis, and I'm super excited to see what the future can hold for us here in ST Louis!!

Devyn Stone, ECIP-E (he/him) is a queer, neurodivergent, and disabled author and Equity-Centered Inclusive Practices Educator whose work centers on trauma-informed, neuroinclusive, and decolonizing approaches to leadership and authority transfer education. A Leatherman, dominant, and community organizer, he has practiced authority transfer dynamics since 2004 and has been teaching and mentoring in the field since 2014. He lives in Detroit with his property, Guan-Xuan.
Devyn is the author of The Affirming Handbook, Why I Don’t Own Them…Yet…, and Recalculating: Navigating the BDSM Community, with a writing style grounded in clarity, accessibility, and practical application for neurodivergent learners and leaders. He is the founder of Pragmatically Kinking, a virtual education platform offering practical, community-centered classes on kink and relationship dynamics. He serves as the Executive Producer of THRIVE, a virtual conference dedicated to the intersection of neurodivergence, mental health, and BDSM. He is also the co-founder of EDGE (Educator Development & Growth Experience), an intensive mentorship and professional development program for kink educators.
In his teaching and consulting, Devyn guides individuals and organizations in building equitable, accessible, and culturally responsive environments. Across more than three hundred classes taught worldwide, his work engages communities in integrating trauma-informed consent, inclusive leadership, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and sustainable authority transfer.
His work is guided by values of clarity, consent, respect, and accessibility, focusing on helping communities build equitable and sustainable practices in kink, leadership, and education. Devyn believes in diversity, not division—a principle that guides his lifelong commitment to creating affirming, equitable, and inclusive spaces.
