Description

Join us for an evening of celebrating fetish culture in North Carolina! Meet fellow rubberists and engage in an evening of conversation and camaraderie in Zeitgeist’s beautifully curated cocktail lounge. New to gear and don’t know where to start? All are welcome! We will have someone available to help you measure for your first latex purchase as well as resources for rubber history and maintenance. Want to learn a bit more about rubber history? We will have our archive or vintage rubber magazines and films available as well. Come gear up with us October 10th! Doors open at 6:00 PM and the formal event will begin at 7:00 PM.

Tickets are available on TicketLeap. When you pay for your ticket you must fill out the attached waiver in order to attend.


ABOUT US:
Founded in 2026, the North Carolina Rubber Alliance’sgoal is to create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where rubberists from across the state can connect, build friendships, and enjoy shared experiences at in-person events.


ABOUT THE SPACE:

Zeitgeist’s menu features specialty cocktails, mocktails, and THC beverages. Zeitgeist features a curated art gallery with rotating exhibitions every two months. There is on-street parking and parking in the rear of the bar available as well as the Chapel Hill St. parking deck (located 9 min. away walking).


DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND?

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE ANY GEAR?

  • Yes! Of course you can! If you don’t have any fetish gear, we just ask that you wear black dressy/elegant attire and come with an open mind. Someone will be available to help you get measured so when you are ready to make your first purchase you will have all the information you need.

CAN I GET DRESSED THERE:

  • Yes, you can. We will have a small changing area and bathroom available for you to change there if need be.

IS THIS A PLAY PARTY:

  • No, this event is intended to be a social where people can gather in gear to appreciate gear. We want people to have a space where they can feel comfortable gearing up and bonding over our shared love of rubber, leather, and more.

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

  1. All Members within NCRA must be at least 21 years of age. Our events are primarily hosted in 21+spaces.
  2. Members of NCRA must respect consent and boundaries at all times. Sexually inappropriate advances, both verbal and physical will not be tolerated.
  3. Our first commitment is providing a safe and welcoming environment. If you feel pressured, threatened, or intimidated in any way please do not hesitate to contact us.
  4. We have a zero-tolerance policy on misandry, misogyny, transphobia, fatphobia, ableism, racism, and homophobia. NCRA is for all people of ALL genders, ALL sexualities, and ALL identities. If you have a problem sharing space with ALL rubberists, this is not the place for you.
  5. All outfits worn to NCRA events must comply with local laws regarding nudity. We request that all genitalia remain covered at events. Please respect the spaces we are in.
  6. Membership is contingent on being a good representative of the fetish community both online and in person. Failure to meet the standards of the NCRA will result in removal from our events and revocation of your membership.
