Description

This hybrid online & in-person educational event is open to all ages

Class Description

In this workshop we will discuss the ethics and artistry of playing in the shadows of the mind. We will begin with consent and risk profiles, followed by a journey into predation, humiliation, degradation, dark age play, trauma reenactment, body fluid play, religion, and other dark corners of the soul. We will exit our journey with how to rebuild, ground, and center as we step back into the light of everyday life.

Please note, this workshop will NOT directly address race or ethnicity play. Discussions related to race and ethnicity will occur in the context of consent and risk profiles. Questions related to race and ethnicity specific play will be redirected to outside sources.

Presenter

Co-Head of House Evolution, @--Nick-- (he/him/Sir) is a middle-age, white, trans-masculine genderqueer, Neurodivergent, QUEERAF, primal, sadomasochistic Dragon. His Leather is values driven and supports folks who embody service, truth, and honor. He lives and plays on the edge, where risk, vulnerability, pleasure, and surrender intersect. Nick negotiates using PRICK and TRICK consent models. He is in service to Ritual Steel as a guide and facilitator, his O/p and D/b dynamics, and to his chosen family. A retired therapist and business owner, Nick supports the health and wellness while directing the services provided at Modern Path and it's fiscally sponsored not for profit project The Modern Path Access Fund.
