Designed for all experience levels, this workshop explores the wonderfully varied world of impact play — from deep, satisfying thud to sharp, attention-grabbing sting.
Troy will take you through the foundations of safer impact play, including anatomy and target areas, choosing and understanding implements, accuracy and control, managing intensity, rhythm and pacing, and the often-overlooked skill of reading your partner's reactions.
Expect practical demonstrations, plenty of opportunities to ask questions and a closer look at some of Troy's favourite implements..
Whether you've never swung an implement in your life or you've been enthusiastically hitting consenting humans for years, you'll leave with a better understanding of how to make your impact more intentional, controlled and effective.
Because anyone can swing a flogger. But learning to make every strike count is where things get interesting.

Equal parts sarcastic prick and quietly terrifying teddy bear. Troy has spent over 12 years in the kink community developing a particular appreciation for the art of making people go “fuck!”
A Dominant with a decidedly sadistic streak, Troy’s approach to kink is calm, methodical and precise — whether delivering a deep thud, a vicious sting, or standing there looking entirely too pleased with the reaction he just caused. His particular loves include heavy impact, floggers, dragon tails, precision and, above all else, reactions.
With a professional background in nursing, Troy brings a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, risk and safety into his approach to impact play. Because knowing exactly what you're hitting and what you absolutely shouldn't be hitting is rather important when your hobbies involve swinging things at humans.
Beyond teaching workshops and demonstrations, Troy spent three years running a dedicated kink venue alongside Manda, educational workshops and mentoring within the community.
His teaching style reflects the way he plays: calm, practical, deliberate and sprinkled liberally with sarcasm. He believes good impact isn't simply about how hard you can hit someone — it's about control, accuracy, pacing, understanding your tools and learning how to read the person standing in front of you.
He may look like a teddy bear. This has historically been a poor indicator of safety.
