Fire play embraces this exciting element in a very personal way, combining fear, sensuality and temperature in a unique way. In this class we explore the beginnings of fire play, enabling students to kickstart their journey or solidify their foundation.
In this class we will cover:
🏗️Building your kit - How to create your kit, highlighting the function of each tool, how to obtain/make it and the nuances of it’s use. This will include: Wands, Gloves, Fuel containers and Fire Blankets
đź“‹Scene setup - Beginning with the negotiation, logistical scene setup and initial assessment of the environment that you are in for suitability.
🚧Fire safety - The basics of fire safety, the types of fires you may encounter, what to do in emergency situations, what a burn is, an introduction to basic burn first aid and negotiation considerations acknowledging all of the above.
🛢️Fuel choice - Providing transparency into the why’s of fuel choice as well as examining other fuel choices made in various scenes/activities involving fire.
🔥Basic techniques - Hands on work in small groups, engaging in your first 'scene' as well as engaging in spotting work for others. We will cover an end-to-end scene and provide some small group practice time with a presenter, enabling you to get a well-rounded perspective on Fire play.

Sasori_D -
Best described as a “reaction fetishist” and sadomasochistic switch, Sasori_D has been a chaotic gremlin of the scene since 2013, spreading his brand of chaos (aka presenting) for around 7 years (since 2017), much to the genuine delight of his students.
Throughout his journey Sasori has been delighted to teach at various levels, from local events to international conventions in the US, EU and Australia. Educated by a range of different mentors and teachers, Sasori continually seeks to grow in both his knowledge as a kinkster and as an educator, engaging in classes, intensives and conventions in every manner he can.
His approach to education incorporates the diversity of his education and his switchy, chaotic, nature, presenting interactive classes that have a heavy emphasis on reaction-oriented skill sets that tend to be on the fringes of BDSM.
Manda (PersephoneAD) -
An educated Domme with unapologetic brat energy and an unhealthy curiosity about what makes people tick, Manda has spent over 12 years exploring the wonderfully weird world of kink as a switch, educator, event organiser and professional instigator.
With a background in psychology, psychosexual therapy and a Master of Medicine in Sexual & Reproductive Health, she combines clinical knowledge with lived experience to explore the psychology behind power, pleasure, pain, anticipation and human behaviour. While firmly capable of occupying either side of the slash, her D side has a particular appreciation for control, reactions and discovering exactly which buttons are worth pushing.
Having spent three years running a dedicated kink venue, alongside facilitating workshops and community events, Manda has worked with kinksters ranging from the cautiously curious to the delightfully depraved.
Her workshops combine education, practical skills, humour and gremlin energy, creating interactive spaces where participation is encouraged and questions are welcomed.
