Description
The APEX BBQ and Open House is a relaxed environment to socialize and share your weekend with your friends. Occurring on the first Sunday of every month, the barbecue is a great way to round out a weekend, to recover from partying hard the night before, or to learn about APEX for the first time! APEX will be putting some burgers and hotdogs on the grill. Bring your favorite sides or desserts to share!
Orientations and Tours will be available for those interested in joining APEX! To learn more about APEX Membership and becoming part of a community of like-minded people with hundreds of education, social, and support events each year, please visit the Membership Page: https://arizonapowerexchange.org/join/. Orientation for new members starts at 1pm! Make sure you arrive early enough to leave time to socialize and get to know people!

Everyone 18+ is welcome. There is no dress code, but you must be street legal. NO cost, but donations are welcome.

About the APEX Family of Organizations:
The Arizona Power Exchange (APEX) operates as a family of organizations dedicated to serving the Phoenix area. Together, we provide a secure, consent-focused environment where adult learners and community members can connect, explore, and grow. Through presenter-led workshops, dynamic community groups, and special events, we are committed to elevating the standard of safety and care in our community.
To achieve this mission, our operations are supported by two distinct but closely connected entities:
Arizona Power Exchange Corporation: Our 501(c)(7) non-profit, member-based social organization. This entity is the heart of our community, providing the physical venue where our members gather, and it actively funds the initiatives of our educational arm.
APEX Education Foundation: Our 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Operating alongside the social organization, the Foundation serves as our dedicated educational hub, focusing entirely on providing high-quality adult education, resources, and safety training.
