What the heck is The House of Mary Jane?!
This group is for any fine folks looking to socialize… dare I say make friends… with fellow kinksters who partake in Cannabis one way or another. We’ll be meeting at a Cannabis lounge where indoor consumption is legal, the couches are plentiful, and the vibes are chill.
Who is welcome?
You. Truly.
What matters is the energy, intention, and attitude you come with.
Coming with years of experience running this group in Toronto it's been a joy to surpass 5 events with The House here in Vancouver!
If you want to participate in everything, amazing.
If you’d rather quietly observe and settle in first, also amazing.

What will we be doing?
Smoking a bunch of green 😶🌫️
Think of this as a social gathering where you have two things in common with everybody there. You can expect events to be filled with laughs, snacks, conversation, and to feel included.
Other than bringing your glorious self and your stash, feel free to bring board games, creative supplies (sketchbooks, knitting, crafts, etc.), stories, snacks… you get the idea!
About the Venue
Cannabis Culture Lounge
303 W Hastings St., Vancouver, BC
An open-concept lounge space with couches, tables, high ceilings, and a lived-in stoner aesthetic that somehow still feels cozy.
There’s a pool table, dab bar, bong, Volcano, and dab rig rentals, plus snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
All bathrooms are inclusive.
Accessibility Notes
There is a staircase required to access the lounge. If you have mobility concerns, please reach out to me at least 48 hours before the event so I can arrange accommodations and/or an alternate meetup location.
If you have breathing sensitivities or a low cannabis tolerance, please note that although ventilated, cannabis smoke and THC linger in the air throughout the lounge.
How much?
There is no cost for the event itself, however the lounge has a cover charge.
From their website:
Entry is $7 + tax per hour with valid photo ID confirming 19+ age requirement. Cover MUST be paid before entry (at top of stairs)
(For transparency: I’ve personally only ever been charged the initial $7 regardless of how long I stayed, but I can’t guarantee that.)

* This is NOT a buy/sell/distribution group. Anyone attempting to do so will be permanently banned from the group and all future events. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY.
