Description
CLASS is a community-minded organisation that welcomes new attendees at each of our events. Our play events can also be quite complex and potentially intimidating for new attendees. While we have several aids and systems in place to help new attendees understand our procedures and settle in with the group, we know we can do better!
We would like to facilitate a roundtable discussion of how we can best serve our new attendees.
This discussion is open to everyone interested in school role play, both prior attendees and those who have not yet attended a CLASS play event. Each person brings their own experience, and, by sharing that with each other, we hope to make the event safer and more enjoyable for everyone. New potential attendees are welcome to join this discussion to express their concerns and wishes for what may make joining in easier for them. Experienced attendees are encouraged to reflect on their own early CLASS experiences and think of what we could have done to make thier first event easier.
The session will be at the same location as the Dublin CLASS munch but will start 90 minutes earlier. All are welcome to stick around for additional conversation at the munch. Accessibility details for the venue are available here.
