What holds us back from fully releasing our inauthentic selves and surrendering completely to the plunge into the unknown, trusting that our true, unapologetic selves will support us?In this performance, Roja and Anastasia will explore how enhancing the emotional connection and power dynamics within a rope session through live music and Farsi Sufi poetry (serving as mantras of surrender) can help everyone involved—the rigger, the model, and the audience—celebrate their deepest desires through their shadows and their most vulnerable, radically authentic selves.
