Hi đź‘‹ I've decided to be brave and try hosting a sunset munch at my local dog park for the next 6 months. It'll be 4 weekly starting Sunday 1st November. Start and end time will vary based on sunset time. To start 3hrs before sunset and finish 1hr before sunset to avoid the influx of mossies.
This is a vanilla event, purely to socialise and connect with other like minded individuals. Please be mindful of the fact that this is a public dog park and is located next to a skate park and playground that are frequented regularly by children. Dress comfortably, the dog park uses woodchip mulch and sand, not grass.
Bring your doggos if you have them, if not come and get your doggo fix. I'll have my cute little Ooph there.
Wether we sit in the small or large dog park will depend heavily on attendants doggos and preferences. Ooph is happy to play in either area.
There are toilets next to the car park and the area is wheelchair accessible. There are water bubblers, but I recommend you BYO drinks and snacks if needed. There are multiple benches, both undercover and shaded by trees in both dog areas.
I have sensory issues, so I bring my headphones with me as sometimes the traffic noise from the road running alongside the dog park overstimulates me, but its not as bad in the late arve/evening on a Sunday as it is on week days.
