Minors & CSA

Under no circumstances can someone post a picture or video that includes a minor, or any content that eroticizes minors.

What is in violation of this guideline?

Under this guideline, the following is not allowed on FetLife:

  • Any real or realistic image of what appears to be an actual minor, whether it is sexualized or not. Examples include, but are not limited to:

    • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
    • Minor that partially appears in the background of a picture
    • Image that has a picture on the wall that includes a minor
    • Picture of a sex doll that is indistinguishable from a human minor
    • Meme that includes a real child
    • Picture of parents with their new-born baby
    • Picture of a real child on package, i.e. child on diaper package
  • Any description or depiction of sexualized minors. Examples include, but are not limited to:

    • Underage cartoon characters performing sexual acts
    • CGI with apparent minors engaged in sexualized activities
    • Written descriptions of eroticized activities that include a minor
    • Caption that eroticizes or promotes sexual contact with a minor
    • Eroticizing your own CSA or the CSA of another person
    • Fantasizing about physically teaching minor about sex (e.g. grooming)
  • Any potential CSA dog whistles. Examples include, but are not limited to:

    • Wanting to talk about or watch the "filthiest things" in the context of “taboo”
    • Saying you can’t discuss the content on-site and have to take it to private off-site chat
    • Looking for people to help make a no limits fantasy come true
    • Inviting people to no limits (NL) off-site group chat
    • Looking for no limits off-site chat
    • Wanting to create a taboo family
    • Mention of no limit black market or dark web content
  • Any groups created or found to be primarily used for the purpose of finding others to potentially eroticize minors. Examples include, but are not limited to:

    • No limit taboo groups
    • No limit off-site private chat groups
    • Using a dog whistle in the description or rules of a group (e.g. wink wink)

What is not in violation of this guideline?

The following examples are not in violation of this guideline:

  • Survivors describing childhood abuse in a non-eroticized manner
  • A cartoon or CGI that includes but does not sexualize a minor
  • Picture of sonogram to announce pregnancy
  • Written non-eroticized origin stories
  • Link to a news article that discusses non-eroticized minors
  • Ageplay & Dark Ageplay (ageplay between two consenting adults)

How do I report a violation of this guideline?

You can report a potential violation of this guideline by:

  1. Visiting the page with the potentially offensive material
  2. Selecting "...", “more”, or “options”, then select “Report”
  3. Selecting "Content Not Permitted" or “Other Reason”
  4. Selecting "Next"
  5. Providing any additional information that can help the person reviewing the report
  6. Selecting "Report"

Who can report a violation of this guideline?

Anyone who comes across anything they believe might fall under this guideline. When it comes to anything involving minors, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.

What happens if someone violates this guideline?

If we believe a picture of video is CSAM, we lock the person out of their account, preserve the account, and report the account to law enforcement. Once the account is reported to law enforcement we permanently delete the account.

If we believe the material is NOT CSAM but still violates this guideline, we remove it. Repeat violations of this guideline may result in other actions, including possible temporary or even permanent suspensions from FetLife.
