We’re excited to announce the ability to favorite a friend or person you follow so that you never miss their posts. When you favorite someone, their recently posted pictures, videos, writings, and status updates will appear toward the top of your feed.

This feature does not change how the algorithm works, all of the same activity will still appear in the activity feed and in sequential order, with nothing removed or hidden. The only difference is that recent posts from people you've favorited will bubble up to the top of your feed so that you don’t miss any of their posts.

Here’s how you can add a friend or someone you follow to your favorites:

From the Main Activity Feed:

1. Visit the Main Activity Feed
2. Navigate to a large story posted by someone you want to favorite
3. Click the “...” menu in the top right-hand corner of the story
4. Select “Add to Favorites”

From your Friends and Following lists on your profile:

1. Visit your Friends or Following lists on your profile
2. Find the person you want to add as a favorite
3. Click the Friends or Following button
4. Select “Add to Favorites” from the dropdown list

You’ll know someone is on your favorites list when you see a ⭐ on their member card in your Friends, Following, and Followers lists. The star will also appear on large stories in your main activity feed.

Everyone can add up to 5 favorites, while supporters can add up to 20 favorites.
