We are changing how FetLife event links appear to improve readability.

Before, an event link often looked like this: fetlife.com/events/123456

Now, they will look more like this: fetlife.com/events/YYYY/MM/DD/name-of-the-event-UNIQUEID

Here is an example: https://fetlife.com/events/2026/01/29/shibari-beyond-the-basics-6apixp

If you already have old event links saved, shared, or posted somewhere, you do not need to update them, the old links will still work.
