How to install the Official FetLife App?

IMPORTANT: Installing the Official FetLife App is completely different compared to installing a regular app from the Google Play or Apple App Store. So don’t rush off to your standard app store, you won’t find us there!

Before you start the installation, make sure you've opened fetlife.com in one of our supported browsers and you're not browsing in Incognito mode.

Mobile

Chrome on Android

  1. Tap the ··· menu in the top right of your Chrome browser
  2. Tap Install app
  3. Tap Install in the installation pop-up

Alternatively, the app can also be installed by pressing the Install button here.

Chrome on iPhone and iPad

  1. Tap the Share icon in the top right of your Chrome browser
  2. Tap Add to Home Screen
  3. Change the name of the app if needed
  4. Tap Add in the top right

Safari on iPhone and iPad

  1. Tap the Share icon at the bottom of your Safari browser
  2. Tap Add to Home Screen
  3. Change the name of the app if needed
  4. Press Add in the top right

Samsung Internet on Android

  1. Tap the ... menu in the right corner of your Samsung Internet browser
  2. Tap Add Page To
  3. Press Home Screen

Firefox on Android

  1. Tap the ... menu in the right corner of your Firefox browser
  2. Tap Add to Home Screen or Install
  3. Press Add in the installation pop-up

Firefox on iPhone and iPad

  1. Tap the ... menu in the right corner of your Firefox browser
  2. Tap on Share
  3. Press Add to Home Screen

Edge on Android

  1. Tap the ... menu in the right corner of your Edge browser
  2. Tap Add to Phone
  3. Press Install in the installation pop-up
  4. Tap Add

Edge on iPhone and iPad

  1. Tap the ... menu in the right corner of your Edge browser
  2. Tap Share
  3. Tab Add to Home Screen
  4. Change the name of the app if needed
  5. Tap Add

Opera on Android

  1. Tap the ... menu in the right corner of your Opera browser
  2. Tap Add to...
  3. Press Home Screen
  4. Change the name of the app if needed
  5. Tap Add
  6. Press Add Automatically

Desktop

Chrome on Windows and MacOS

  1. Click the ··· menu in the top right of Chrome
  2. Choose Save and Share
  3. Select Install FetLife...
  4. Click Install in the installation pop-up

Safari on MacOS

  1. Click the Share button in the top right of Safari
  2. Choose Add to Dock
  3. Change the name of the app if needed
  4. Select Add

Edge on Windows and MacOS

  1. Click the ...menu in the top right of Edge
  2. Choose Apps
  3. Select Install FetLife
  4. Click Install in the installation pop-up
