Earlier this week, we announced that on July 25th, 2025, the UK Online Safety Act goes into effect.

To make age verification even easier, we've introduced a new method called “Age Estimation”. With one simple click, we do an age verification as well as a liveness check.

Besides the new age estimation method, you can also easily age verify using one of the following methods:

• Verify your Profile
• Use a UK Mobile Network
• Support FetLife via Credit Card

If you’ve already done any of these in the past, or if your account is older than 5 years, you will be automatically verified, and no further action is needed.
