Impact Tools

Impact or impact play is an activity where a person is hit or struck. Sometimes this can be done with bare hands, fists or feet but often a toy or implement is used. Impact tools refer to the various toys and tools that can be used to do this. Impact toys vary in sensation depending on their size, shape and material.

• Paddles and floggers tend to have a heavy, "thud" sensation.
• Canes, crops, dragon tails, and whips tend to have a stinging sensation.
• Slappers tend to provide a slapping sensation - and a nice, loud sound some people love.
