Slapper
A slapper is a tool that is used for impact play and discipline. The striking surface is usually made from one or two layers of a flexible material, as opposed to a paddle, which has a rigid striking surface. The handle may be of a different material than the striking surface or of a piece with it.
Many slappers are made from two layers of leather, with a distinctive "slap" sound coming from the second layer hitting the first shortly after the initial impact on the bottom's body. The striking surface can also be made of rubber, firehose, or other flexible materials. In the pervertable arena, a folded over belt makes a good slapper.
There are also alternative slappers like the dragon tail / dragon tongue that use a folded material that has some spring to it. This would be most likely be thicker leather, but could also be suede, rubber, or silicone. It will have either a single thicker "tail," or multiple tails to create more of the slapping effect.
