ADHD
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition where a person has trouble concentrating, is overly active, or has trouble controlling impulsive behaviors. Sometimes (but not always) this may include the physical need to fidget or move about.
Inattentive ADHD / ADD
Inattentive ADHD (sometimes just referred to as ADD, which is an older term) tends to be without the hyperactive element and is now considered a subtype of ADHD.
A person with inattentive ADHD may have a short attention span or be easily distracted. Their symptoms are more based around mental attention. They may lose focus or concentration easily e.g: a person's mind or mental energy may jump around from idea to idea. They are less prone to excessive physical fidgeting and moving about than those with ADHD.
Treatment Approaches
The same medication/s are used to treat both ADHD and inattentive ADHD and this is one of the reasons why ADD has been added to ADHD spectrum and relabeled as inattentive ADHD.
Note: Not all those with ADD and or ADHD take medicine due severity of ADD and or ADHD and the side effect vs the benefits.
ADHD & Kink
There's a few things than can help a person with ADHD to have more focus and motivation such as interest, urgency, novelty, accountability. For this reason, many ADHDers search for more stimulation and novelty in their sex life and discover kink. D/s relationship fit well their need of accountability, both on the Dom or sub side.
ADHD & Sex
ADHDers can sometimes be hyper-sensitive or hypo-sensitive, meaning some ADHDers are easily over stimulated or under stimulated.
