Demiromantic
The term demiromantic usually refers to a person who does not experience romantic attraction unless they form a strong emotional connection with the person first.
The defining characteristic of demiromantics is that they usually feel romantically attracted to someone after establishing an emotional bond but they may still have partner gender preferences e.g: be<insert gay,genders straight, bisexual, or pansexual etchere>. The frequency at which demiromantics experience attraction can vary from person to person and doesn't necessarily involve or affect libido.
'Demi' literally means "half" (as in demigod or demi-bra). A "demiromantic," by literal definition, implies "50% romantically-inclined," with the other 50% consisting of a combination of other blended identities. Even if the other 50% was expressly named as "demisexual," for example, the one stated (alone or first) implies the more closely-held identity. The demiromantic, in this case, would be said to prioritize romance over sex.
