Lithromantic
Lithromantic refers to a person who experiences romantic attraction but does not want it returned, or loses interest if the other person reciprocates. For a lithromantic, attraction feels enjoyable from a distance as fantasy or one-sided affection, but they do not want a mutual romantic relationship.
Lithromantic is also know as akoiromantic.
A lithromantic may:
- Feel romantic attraction internally, but not want to act on it.
- Enjoy crushes or fantasy.
- Lose interest when someone returns the feelings.
- Prefer unrequited, distant, or fictional forms of romance.
