Frayromantic

Frayromantic refers to someone who experiences romantic attraction towards people they don't know well, but that attraction fades as they get to know the person better and a deeper connection forms. Frayromantic is a romantic orientation that falls under the aromantic spectrum. Frayromantic may also be referred to as ignoromantic.

This is essentially the opposite of demiromantic., where romantic attraction develops over time and a strong bond.

Frayromantic can be a romantic orientation on its own, or it can be combined with other orientations like gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. Even though the romantic attraction fades, frayromantics can still have other forms of attraction towards the person, like strong friendships (queer platonic attraction) or deep emotional connections.
