Chlamydia
Chlamydia is a bacterial infection transmitted through sexual contact, often asymptomatic but can include symptoms like pain during urination and abnormal discharge.
The treatment for chlamydia typically involves antibiotics.
Untreated, it may lead to pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility in women, epididymitis (Inflammation of the tube at the back of the testicle that stores and carries sperm) and possible infertility in men, increased risk of HIV, and complications such as conjunctivitis and reactive arthritis.
