The term chaser indicates a person who is looking for or pursuing a specific type of person as if that person were only a kink object for their particular fetish.
The term chaser is generally negative. It usually refers to someone who fixates on a particular trait or identity rather than seeing the whole person. However, some people claim the label simply to describe a strong preference.
Chaser is often paired with an adjective that identifies the person or trait being pursued. For example, a chubby chaser seeks out fat people. Within communities commonly targeted by chasers, the word may be used alone because the target is understood from context.
