Inflation Kink
Inflation is an umbrella kink term that covers fantasies involving a body—or specific body parts—expanding, swelling, or being filled, without being directly tied to realistic weight gain. The expansion is typically temporary and framed around the idea of the body acting as a pressure vessel, rather than long-term physical change.
Inflation often overlaps with weight gain fetish content, but differs in that it usually focuses on short-term expansion rather than permanent or realistic weight gain. Realistic depictions are limited by the actual survivable capacity of the human body (most commonly the gastrointestinal system), while unrealistic depictions are far more common and exaggerated.
Unrealistic inflation is frequently portrayed in fiction, illustrations, animation, or fantasy roleplay, such as exaggerated air inflation (e.g., cartoon-style expansion like the Suck-O-Lux gag in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit.") These depictions are not bound by real-world anatomy or physics.
Inflation kink is primarily fantasy-based, with strong emphasis on imagination, consent, and negotiated boundaries.
