Boyflux

Boyflux is subset of genderflux that describes someone whose male-aligned identity fluctuates in intensity. Some people describe this like a light switch, in which someone's maleness can shine brighter or with less intensity. The frequency and degree of change differ a lot between individuals. Some might people notice small changes daily, others more gradual or occasional shifts.

While boyflux overlaps with genderfluid, it isn't the same. The distinction is that with “flux” identities, what fluctuates is how much of a particular gender one feels (in this case masculinity), rather than switching between wholly different gender identities.
