Graygender

Graygender (also spelled greygender) is a gender identity that exists in the “gray area” of gender. Someone who identifies as graygender may feel only a partial, weak, or occasional connection to gender, or may experience gender in an ambivalent or fluctuating way. It shares a conceptual space with other “gray” identities (such as graysexuality), in that it describes an experience that is not fully aligned with binary or strongly defined genders, but is also not the complete absence of gender.

For some, graygender feels like having a faint or distant relationship with gender; for others, it may mean that their experience of gender changes in intensity over time.
