Pompoir
A sexual technique in which a person rhythmically contracts and controls the vaginal muscles to stimulate a partner’s penis during intercourse. This requires strong pelvic floor muscles and practice to develop. At peak effectiveness, no thrusting by the penis is necessary to achieve orgasm.
These movements are similar to Kegels but require more precise control.
Origins of the Term
The word "pompoir" is of French origin, perhaps derived from the word pompe (meaning “pump”) or perhaps a translation of the name of the Tamil city Pahmpur (the techinique is said by some to have originated in India).
