Lap Dance
A lap dance is an activity where a person grinds on another’s lap in very erotic motions, usually set to music. It is most commonly seen in strip clubs, but it can also be an activity for couples to do in other settings such as sex parties or at home in private. It can be done fully clothed, partially clothed, or with no clothing. In a classic lap dance, the grinder (usually but not always a woman) is dressed provocatively while the grindee (usually but not always a man) is dressed in street clothes.
Couples may engage in lap dances as a form of foreplay.
In a kink context, lap dances can be a type of sensation play or a power exchange activity. They can be used in tease and denial scenes to build arousal without allowing release. When it's tied to power and control, a submissive might be ordered to dance and told what they should wear and how they should move, or a dominant might perform the dance on their partner and deny them permission to climax no matter how aroused they get.
