Abrosexual

Abrosexuality, colloquially known as sexual fluidity, is a sexuality that involves feeling different levels of sexual attraction over time. This may fluctuate over a person's whole lifetime or more frequently.

For example, an abrorosexual person may find themselves more sexually attracted to men one week and then to women or nonbinary people the next, or their attraction may change in intensity.

The term abroromantic is the romantic counterpart of this sexual orientation and can be used to refer to romantic fluidity over time.

Origins of the Term

The prefix "abro-" is from the Greek habrós, which means "delicate" or "graceful." This prefix is used to symbolize the changing nature and "movement" of abroromantic people. Alternately, one might consider the Latin meaning of the prefix: "open," symbolizing in much the same way a more free-flowing attitude about one's personal orientation(s).
