Nebulasexual

Nebulasexual is a modern, community-made term that emerged from the asexual and neurodivergent spaces of Tumblr in the early-to-mid 2010s. It is believed to have been coined around 2014, and has been popping up online ever since.

The word comes from “nebula,” meaning something cloudy, hard to see, or undefined. It was chosen because many neurodivergent people described their attraction as “foggy,” “blurry,” or “mixed together."
