Clan

In BDSM, a clan refers to a group of people connected through a shared dynamic, identity, or relationship structure.

Unlike a formal BDSM house, a clan is usually less hierarchical and more community-based. Members may share similar roles (such as submissives, Dominants, or switches), a specific kink interest, or simply a social bond within the kink scene.

Clans can be:

• Loose and social (friends who attend events together).
• Identity-based (centered around a shared label or aesthetic).
• Structured but informal (with some expectations, but fewer rules than a house).
