Harem Holder

The leader of a harem is sometimes referred to as the harem holder. This person is the one at the center of the harem dynamic, with multiple partners that are monogamous to them (in most cases).

Origin of the term

In biology, a harem holder is a dominant male animal who protects a group of female animals that, in most cases, he has exclusive rights to mate with. Some of the animals which form harems are red deer, elk, several types of baboons, lions.
