A flirtationship is a relationship dynamic where two people consistently flirt with each other but are not officially dating, committed, or clearly romantically involved. It’s more than casual banter, but not a defined relationship.

A flirtationship can be flirty, platonic, or a combination of both. It can stay as a flirtationship or be a low-stakes stepping stone to a deeper relationship at a later date.
