Poly Family
A poly family is a group of people in consensual non-monogamous relationships who consider themselves to be emotionally bonded, interconnected, and committed like a chosen family. While the exact structure varies, the emphasis is on love, care, and shared life, not just romantic or sexual connection.
A poly family may include partners, metamours, children, and others who are part of a shared household or emotional unit. It can be hierarchical (e.g., primaries, secondaries) or egalitarian. They may also include kink roles such as Doms, subs, or service dynamics. Members may co-parent, cohabitate, attend events together, or support each other emotionally and practically.
