Non-Monogamous
Non-monogamous refers to any relationship style where people do not exclusively commit to one romantic or sexual partner. The term includes a wide range of consensual relationship structures where multiple emotional, romantic, or sexual connections are allowed and openly acknowledged.
Non-monogamy is often built on communication, boundary-setting, and transparency. It differs from cheating or infidelity in that all parties involved know and agree to the structure. It can include relationship styles like polyamory, swinging, open relationships, relationship anarchy, or solo poly.
