Chain Bondage

The use of chains to restrain a person. This happens often in combination with cuffs but is also used as just chains on their own, sometimes combined with locks. Some people are also doing suspension bondage with chains, others are using very heavy chains to "bury" a person underneath the weight of those chains.

Often chain bondage aims to restrict a person's movements. The more industrial or glossy look and feel of chains can create an atmosphere that people desire or associate with fantasies such as dungeons. Most chains are made out of metal, and the finishing is usually in chrome, nickle or steel can be an aesthetic choice. The addition of locks to close the chains and someone holding a key can be a form of dominance.

In more softer variations, kink clothing can have functional chains that can restrain a person partially such as a chain connected to a collar which can also be used as a restraint or lead.
