Self-Tying
Self tying is a form of rope bondage or rope play that is done by the person on themselves (the self-tyer.) The focus may be purely on the person's own sensations from and reactions to rope but it can also be done in lab mode, where the focus is developing technical skills, sometimes with the goal of using them in partnered tying.
In Japanese bondage, the term Jibaku (自縛) is used to describe self-bondage or self-tying.
