Rope Dressing

Typically used as a synonym for Decorative Rope. Some people also use the term Wearable Rope to refer to rope worn as clothing.

A subset of Rope Bondage or Rope Play. Rope Dressing focuses on using ropes as clothing. This can be done either as Self-Tying or by a Rope Top to a Rope Bottom. Ropes are used so that they cover the body and act like a sort of garment, generally not restricting the person in their movement, but can (optionally) give them pressure sensations from the placement of the ropes.

Applications range from purely aesthetic to under-clothes pressure ties on places like crotch and breasts. Aesthetic ties are also commonly found being worn to kink events, for photo-shoots and have even been known to be worn at public pride events where expressions like that are allowed. The more hidden applications are often under clothing and are part of a dynamic between two people where the recipient of the rope will feel the presence of the rope during regular activities reminding them about the dynamic that has resulted in that rope being there.
