Broad term covering most types of rope activities, including decorative rope, rope bondage, kinbaku, shibari, western bondage, fusion rope, chaos rope, etc. Sometimes used to indicate that the emphasis of the experience is the feelings evoked rather than the technical aspect of how the rope is applied in what patterns.
