An adult baby (AB) is an adult who plays the role of a baby to varying degrees. This could involve wearing and using diapers and onesies, sucking pacifiers, eating mushy food (often just actual baby food from a grocery store), playing with baby toys (like blocks or stacking rings), sleeping in cribs, not saying "big kid words" or any words at all, or anything else that is seen as infantile.

For many ABs, this is a submissive role, while for some it is not connected to BDSM but rather just an activity they enjoy, either on their own or with a non-dominant partner.

Every AB has their own way of going about it. For some it is sexual; for some it is not. This is not the same as age regression.
